I was born and raised in the St. Louis area before going to Missouri State University where I achieved a B.S. degree in Finance in 1992. Soon after, life led me to Tulsa where I took advantage of my love for Real Estate with a successful career as a Realtor including several years in new construction. Finally life led me back home to Missouri in 2020 where I can do what I love, where I love! It is such a great honor to guide clients through one of their biggest life investments while making great friends along the way. If you are thinking of buying, selling or investing in real estate, let me have your back and help reach your goals.

At the heart of my real estate philosophy is a deep belief that clients and customers are an extension of our family. Guiding people through the real estate journey is not just a job, but a privilege I take seriously.
Typically, housing is the largest expense in one's life & navigating this new real estate landscape can be tricky. I'm here to help you understand it and make the best possible moves for you & your family.
My goal is to educate & guide you through all aspects of your real estate journey, and to make your next move as seamless as possible. When you choose to work with me, I will be fully committed to your real estate goals. With my background in Business, Property, and HOA Management, combined with a competitive spirit and sheer determination to succeed, I am dedicated to ensuring you get the best price & terms possible when buying or selling your next home.
I believe that positive energy is what drives the world forward, and I strive to maintain that positivity in all my interactions, even in the face of disappointments.
When I'm not helping clients, I enjoy flipping houses—a hobby that allows me to bring new life to properties and see their potential realized. I also cherish spending time with my family, making memories that last a lifetime. Sightseeing around Missouri's rolling hills and beautiful waterways is a constant source of inspiration for me. I love exploring the natural beauty this state has to offer.

Home is more than just four walls—it’s where family, memories, and community come together. I became a Real Estate agent because I love helping families find not just a house, but a place to create lifelong memories.
I take pride in creating a supportive and stress-free experience for every client, guiding them through each step of the process with patience, transparency, and care regardless if they're searching for their first family home, upsizing to meet new needs, or selling a place filled with memories.
For me, Real Estate isn’t just about transactions—it’s about building lasting relationships and helping families feel truly at home. My promise is simple: every client I work with feels supported, informed, and confident from start to finish.
When I'm not helping clients, I like to spend time with my Wife, Son, and dog Symba outdoors. I like to discover new restaurants in town, connect with friends and neighbors, and I also like supporting small businesses.

Tessa Brooks, a dynamic and dedicated real estate agent, comes from the small town of Bourbon, Missouri, where she grew up on a farm. Her journey from the rural heartland to the bustling city of St. Louis is a testament to her determination and adaptability. I grew up in St. Charles, and went to middle school and high school out there. Once I graduated, I went to Lindenwood University in St. Charles, where I studied History and Art. I have always had a passion for cool architecture and fun buildings. As an adult, I moved into the Tower Grove area and have been exploring around that area for the past 5 years. In my free time I love being outside, whether it's biking, roller blading, hiking, I am always happy to explore new areas, try new restaurants, explore new cities and museums.
I have worked in many different industries, but my favorites have always been those where people are making big life changes and need someone to walk alongside them in the process. Real Estate is a newfound passion, but I quickly learned it is a beautiful way to connect with new individuals and make new friendships! Those moments of big life changes have always been really special and important to me, and I hope to keep making memories and helping clients for many years to come.

A South City native, I grew up on a little dead-end block over by Carondelet Park. That street was our world as kids--"Pod racing" down the alleyway on scooters, Friday night games of 'Release' (team hide-and-go-seek) or capture the flag, bonfires, block parties...it was such a beautiful community to grow up in. It helped me to learn that there really is more to a home than the four walls holding it up.
I went on to graduate from SLUH and attend Missouri S&T, where I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Theater Performance. After a season working for Circus Flora, I spent a few years in various technical support positions, where I discovered a passion for service. Specifically, for helping people navigate technically challenging and stressful situations and setting them at ease in the process.
Today, I've landed just a bit further south from where I grew up, down in South County with my wife, three kids, and the family dog. My hope is to be able to help my friends, family, and neighbors find a home to build memories as magical as the ones I have from my own childhood, while having the time to help my own kiddos build those memories as well.
So if you're ready for a move--or even just contemplating one--let's chat sometime. I'd love to meet you!

I’m passionate about expanding access to affordable housing and using commercial real estate as a catalyst for community transformation. Throughout my career, I’ve helped owners reposition, lease, and stabilize underperforming properties, while driving strategies that create lasting value for both investors and the communities they serve. I take pride in blending analytical insight with a people-centered approach—because I believe real estate is about more than properties; it’s about impact, sustainability, and opportunity.
